[Seminar] Prof. Byong-Guk Park’s Visit and Seminar on Field-Free Spin-Orbit Torque Switching

On December 23, we hosted a seminar by Prof. Byong-Guk Park (Department of Materials Science and Engineering, KAIST).

Under the title “Materials Engineering for Field-Free Spin-Orbit Torque Switching,” Prof. Park presented recent advances in spin–orbit torque (SOT) research for MRAM applications. His talk focused on materials-engineering approaches to achieve magnetic switching without an external magnetic field, as well as current strategies for reducing the critical current density. The seminar provided valuable insights into the latest developments and future directions in energy-efficient spintronic devices.
